Fashion Week Hits London town

Over the last few days our eyes have been glued to the catwalk as Fashion Week hits our very own London town, exhibiting stunning collections for 2015 from our favourite season, Spring/Summer! With Autumn encroaching this catapult into Summer lovin’ bold colour palettes, bright whites, refreshing prints and shifting silhouettes has caught us in reverie.

Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony is always top on the to-see list. Her unique style combines influences from a variety of sub-cultures; old and new. As a former model, art house actress and iconic New York IT-girl, her fashion designs are a reflection of what she has lived and who she is now. Crops and ruffles, cut outs and nineties necklines, here are our favourite looks from this show;

CS for OCPsychedelic retro madness, Henry Holland’s collection went all out rock-star groupie-glam. Taking colour and texture to floor, his models strutted to the sound of Jimi Hendrix in an array of summer splattered designs. This dreamy mix of gogo-girl and boho-babe gets a big thumbs up from us!

We’re in the mood for tropical prints, womanly shapes and wearable designs, and Mathew Williamson is our new best friend! Williamson’ S/S 15 line stood out with variety. Each look was a show on it’s own yet a subtle underlying theme remained tying the pieces together beautifully.

A pastel delight Richard Nicoll’s main muse seemed to be Disney’s Tinker Bell. This stunning collection envisages sun-kissed skin draped in a haze of ice-cream hues with sparkling metallic undertones. There was a definite sporty vibe to this collection creating the perfect paradox of feminine desire and effortless chic.
